Job summary

Mystic meadows is currently seeking an experienced Cook to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity with responsibilities including planning, food prep, cooking, cleaning, and coordination with the Dietitian and the dietary department to serve residents.

We prefer candidates with a high school diploma or GED and healthcare food service experience in a nursing home, hospital, or school setting. Our mission is to provide high-quality meals while supporting residents and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Experience in nursing home, hospital, or school cooking is required.
• Ability to work with the dietary department and dietitian.

Responsibilities

• Duties include planning, food prep, cooking, cleaning, coordinating with the Dietitian, and working with the dietary department in serving residents.
• Coordinate with Dietitian and dietary team to ensure meals meet dietary guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen.
