SONIC Drive-In Restaurant Cook

As a SONIC Drive-In Restaurant Cook, you will oversee the Appetite Satisfaction Department, operating stations such as Food Production, Grill, Fryer, and others as applicable.

Cook responsibilities include:

1. Preparing and cooking food orders to meet quality standards
2. Food preparation and portioning
3. Cooking on the grill
4. Operating the fry station
5. Dressing items to order
6. Packaging menu items and checking for quality and consistency
7. Cleaning tasks including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counters, and sanitizing food areas

Requirements:

• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Flexibility based on business needs
• Effective communication, basic math, and reading skills
• Ability to follow directions
• Willingness to adhere to appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards
• Knowledge of restaurant or retail operations is preferred but not required
