GEO Reentry Services LLC is seeking a dedicated food service professional to support meal preparation within a correctional facility. You will work with the Food Service Manager to prepare large quantities of meats, fish, gravies, cereals, soups, and vegetables.

You will also help manage inventory and ensure timely meal service. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of relevant experience in food preparation, preferably with formal training in food service.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum one (1) year prior experience in food preparation obtained in commercial, military, or institutional setting.
• Relevant technical training courses in food service preparation and cooking preferred. Prior cooking and correctional food service training preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage inventory (place and receive orders for food and supplies).
• Ensure food quality and schedule preparations.
• Guide and train employees.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety.
• Train inmate/detainee food service workers and inspect their work.
