Peak View Behavioral Health is seeking a Cook to implement menus, prepare meals for patients, staff and visitors, and ensure nutrition and quality.
Requires high school diploma, 2+ years institutional food service experience, and Serv Safe Certification. Full-time and part-time options available; emphasis on cleanliness and infection-control practices in a healthcare setting.
The Cook implements menus and coordinates food preparation and serves meals. Responsibilities include ordering, inventory and preparing food items for the patients, staff and visitors of the facility, guaranteeing appealing, nutritious, and high-quality meals and snack are served. Preparation and serving activities are performed in accordance with the menus planned, food service policies, sanitary guidelines and food sensitivity/allergy requirements. Cleaning of the kitchen and services areas and equipment utilizes proper infection control procedures.
Compensation: $17–$19.50/hr
Schedule: (Full-Time) 11:00 am – 7:30 pm Wednesday–Sunday / (Part-Time) 11am to 7:30pm Friday-Sunday
