Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cook to join our kitchen team at Onondaga Hill in Syracuse, NY, providing compassionate, restaurant-style dining for residents. You will participate in preparing meals according to established recipes and menus, ensure food safety and quality, and help maintain a welcoming dining atmosphere.

The role supports residents with special dietary needs and promotes nutrition and presentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of culinary customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere.
• Participate in preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and approved menus
• Adhere to state, federal, and company laws, regulations and guidelines
• Ensure food is prepared in a nutritional, appetizing fashion, and presented in an attractive manner
• Ensure that appropriate snacks are available to residents with special dietary needs

Salary:$17.00 -$18.50 per hour - based on experience

Cook Responsibilities include:
