The Cook is an experienced professional responsible for food preparation, cleanliness, and organization within the Food & Nutrition Department. Providing excellent customer service to patients and staff is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform competencies as per the Competency Checklist
• Maintain ethics in all practices
• Follow confidentiality and patient rights policies
• Support the facility's mission and values
• Prepare food according to recipes for various service areas and events
• Read production sheets and forecast needs

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred 1 year of cooking experience
• Food Handlers or ServSafe certification within 90 days of hire
