Morada Senior Living is seeking a Cook for our Morada Burleson Senior Living community. You will prepare hot and cold menu items across grill, sauté, salad-bar and service lines, ensuring correct portions and consistent presentation.

Responsibilities include ensuring menu-cycle compliance, tasting for quality, and maintaining high standards in a senior living environment. Weekend availability is required and comprehensive benefits are provided for full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior living food service preferred.
• Knowledge of production methods and portion control.
• Understanding of food safety practices and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line;
• Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes;
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Senior Living preferred
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required.
• Great organizational skills a must
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and presentation of food product is required.
• Must be able to work weekends.
