Job summary

Morada Meadow Lakes in North Richland Hills, TX is hiring a Cook to join our all-inclusive independent senior living community. You will prepare hot and cold menu items across grill, sauté, salad-bar and service lines, ensuring correct portioning and serving per recipes.

Taste and assess quality to maintain high standards. Ideal candidates have prior senior living experience, knowledge of portion control and food safety, strong organization, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in senior living preferred.
• Experience with production methods and portion control.
• Food handling safety knowledge required.
• Great organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and service line.
• Ensure proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes.
