Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking an experienced cook for Bowie State University in Bowie, MD. You will join a fast-paced culinary team, responsible for preparing quality meals for a collegiate dining program.

The role emphasizes scratch cooking, portion control, and creative presentation while upholding food safety standards. Onsite, full-time employment with comprehensive benefits at a leading campus dining program.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year culinary experience in a quality, high-volume establishment with emphasis on scratch cooking.
  • Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to use various kitchen equipment and tools and to identify and differentiate food items.
  • Customer service experience is required.

We are looking to add an experienced cook to work with a highly motivated and energetic kitchen staff in our Bowie, MD location for our collegiate division. As a cook for Elior Collegiate Dining, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, efficient environment and cook delicious meals. What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
