Job summary

UW Health Belvidere Hospital in Belvidere, IL is seeking a 90% FTE food service worker to support quantity food preparation. Shifts are 6:00am-2:30pm and 10:00am-6:30pm every other weekend.

You will join a dedicated team responsible for preparing and delivering meals to patients and staff. Applicants should have at least one year of quantity food preparation experience and a current Illinois Food Sanitation certification (or obtain within 6 months).

• At least one year of experience in quantity food preparation.
• No minimum education required.
• Illinois Food Sanitation certification or obtain within 6 months of hire; Serve Safe certification within 30 days if no license present.

Work Schedule:

90% FTE, 6:00am-2:30pm and 10:00am-6:30pm every other weekend. You will work at UW Health Belvidere Hospital 1625 S State St.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Qualifications

• At least one year experience in quantity food preparation. Required
• Previous clerical experience. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Must have current State of Illinois Food Sanitation certification or obtain within 6 months of hire. If no valid licenses is in place prior to hire, Serve Safe Food Handler certification required to be completed within 30 days of hire. Required
