Job summary

Buckhead Center for Nursing and Healing in Atlanta is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our weekend team. You’ll prepare meals from set menus, plate visually appealing dishes, and uphold strict safety and sanitation standards in a compassionate, resident‑focused kitchen environment.

This role requires at least 1 year of healthcare kitchen experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen, healthcare setting preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ServSafe certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Create delicious meals using set menus and recipes.
• Serve meals with appealing presentation and taste.
• Maintain strict safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and kitchen organization.
• Be a positive, supportive member of the care team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Creating delicious meals using set menus and recipes
• Serving food that looks great and tastes even better
• Keeping things spotless with strict safety and sanitation standards
• Helping manage inventory and keep the kitchen organized
• Being a key part of our care team, brightening residents’ days with every meal

Shift:

• 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 1 year of experience (healthcare kitchen experience is a bonus!)
  • Not including fast food
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to get certified within 90 days
  • Dependable, positive, and ready to bring your A-game every weekend
