Sagora Senior Living is hiring a Cook at its Asher Point location in Amarillo, TX. The role focuses on preparing high-quality meals for residents across independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities.

You will ensure sanitation, stock management, and courteous service in a fast-paced team environment. Requirements include at least one year in a commercial kitchen, ServSafe and Food Handler’s permits, and strong verbal/written communication with residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with residents, families, and team members.

Responsabilités

• Prepare à la carte items for residents.
• Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, storage, and work areas.
• Assist with training of Culinary team members.
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation.
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in a friendly, courteous manner.
