Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living, LLC in Abington, PA is seeking a full-time Cook to prepare meals according to standardized recipes, ensure quality and presentation, and support a safe dining environment.

You will follow dietary modifications, record temperatures, stock and rotate food, maintain cleanliness, and complete logs. When the Dining Services Coordinator is absent, you may lead food production and oversee kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards.
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements.
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures.
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations.
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas.
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines.
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed.
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.
