Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a Convolutor Operator Trainee to join our manufacturing team. In this role you will set up and operate the tube convolution testing machine, work with forming dies, monitor process performance, and ensure quality tolerances on hose assemblies.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have a certificate or short-term training with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the tube convolution testing machine.
• Load tubing onto forming and compression mandrels.
• Select, operate and adjust programs to remove die and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Inspect hose segments and verify conformance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Education

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
