Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Group in Ridgeway, SC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to identify equipment issues and perform preventive and corrective maintenance across conveyors, AS/RS systems, cranes, VFDs, gearboxes and related distribution equipment.

You will install new machines, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems, and coordinate general facility maintenance while maintaining safety in high places and extreme heat.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of experience in building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of conveyor systems.
• Comfortable with heights and extreme heat; around moving parts.
• Good verbal and written communication; use of diplomacy.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify issues with equipment and coordinate/perform maintenance.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, AS/RS systems, cranes, VFDs, gearboxes and belts.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment; troubleshoot.
• Repair electrical and mechanical systems; diagnose malfunctioning apparatus.
• Perform routine maintenance with hand/power tools and materials handling equipment.
• Coordinate and/or perform general building maintenance.
• Maintain and repair plumbing, lighting, and other facilities components.
• Set specifications for new equipment and install power wiring/conduit.
