Qualifications

• Typically requires a technical degree and zero to three years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
• MSHA Experienced Miner Surface AND Underground certification highly preferred.
• 1+ year of experience working belt line in either mining, aggregate, or other related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site belt installation, splicing, and preventative maintenance.
• Repair heavyweight conveyor belt using various methods.
• Diagnose problems with equipment, assess the problem, and make repair decisions.

Skills

Basic hand tool familiarity

Basic math experience

Excellent communication skills

Ability to lift 40-75lbs
