Job summary

Ford is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in conveyor feasibility to design innovative conveyance systems for final assembly. You will collaborate with manufacturing leaders, product engineers, plant teams, and suppliers to turn ideas into scalable, high-impact solutions using AutoCAD and Teamcenter.

You will perform detailed feasibility studies, optimize layouts for throughput and ergonomics, and ensure safety and standards compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with design and optimization of conveyor systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design efficient conveyance systems and layouts in AutoCAD.
• Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and analyses of proposed designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, product engineers, plant teams, and suppliers to define specs.
• Optimize conveyor layouts to boost throughput and ergonomics.
• Ensure designs comply with safety standards and internal specs.
• Provide technical guidance from concept to installation and prove-out.
