Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Maintenance Electrician/Mechanic to perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on conveyors, balers, and powered industrial equipment in a full-time role in the New York area. The job requires inspecting systems, performing lubrication, and addressing unplanned maintenance while ensuring safety around 24V, 110V and 480V electrical systems.

Flexible scheduling including overtime and shift rotation is required. HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as an electrician or mechanic.
• Ability to work flexibly including overtime and shift rotation.
• Work safely with 24V, 110V, and 480V electrical systems.
• Read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Authorized for Lock-out Tag-out procedures.

Responsibilities

• Regular inspections and checks of conveyors, balers, and equipment.
• Perform lubrication and routine service tasks.
• Handle unplanned electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
• Adjust light sensors and switches as needed.
• Replace wear parts on rolling stock and dock equipment and set up.
• Handle various field tasks as directed by management.

Position Summary

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on conveyors and balers and powered industrial equipment

Scheduled - Monday-Friday Hours - 3:30pm-12am -

• Regular (daily/ weekly / monthly) system inspections and checks
• Smaller adjustments and service tasks (lubrication)
• Unplanned electrical, mechanical maintenance and repairs
• Electrical, Mechanical diagnosis and resolution
• Control and adjustment of light sensors and switches
• Exchange and set up of mechanical wear and tear parts with rolling stock and dock equipment
• Exchange and set up of electrical wear and tear parts with rolling stock and dock equipment
• Various field-related tasks as directed by Management

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a electrician or mechanic
• Ability to work a flexible schedule or overtime as required, to include shift rotation.
• Ability to work safely with and around 24 Volt, 110 Volts and 480 Volt electrical systems.
• Ability to work safely with and around operating mechanical systems.
• Read, comprehend and interpret technical reference manuals, wiring diagrams
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical systems.
• Ability to be trained in Lock-out Tag-out procedures as an “Authorized” user.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and count accurately.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work within a team atmosphere.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $18.50 - $31.72 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
