Job summary

Actalent in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to design and deliver material handling equipment, including conveyors, for complex manufacturing facilities. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Hands-on mechanical design experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks for 3D modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design material handling equipment including conveyors to meet facility requirements.
• Translate needs into scalable engineering solutions and develop site layouts.
• Prepare and issue RFPs and support vendor selection and site activities.
• Lead engineering design from concept through detailed design and handoff to execution teams.
• Travel up to 50% for site visits and assessments.
