Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to oversee, maintain, and repair equipment in a warehouse environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting electric lift equipment and conveyor systems, performing preventative maintenance, and reporting on equipment status.

Responsibilities include following safety guidelines, keeping the work area clean, and collaborating with the Area Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing conveyor and electric lift equipment.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and hydraulic/pneumatic issues.
• Basic computer skills for monitoring equipment and reporting.
• Familiarity with safety practices and OSHA standards.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends or evenings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electric lift equipment and conveyor systems; diagnose system logic as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance and necessary modifications on equipment and facilities.
• Provide equipment status reports and document unusual maintenance problems.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and OSHA standards; maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Directly report to Area Supervisor; no direct reports; travel rarely required.
