Job summary

Spec Corp is seeking a qualified truck driver/material handler to locate and deliver building materials to job sites in Bradenton, FL. You will perform pre/post DOT inspections, secure loads, and maintain daily truck cleanliness.

The role requires a valid CDL (Class A or B), compliance with all DOT regulations, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift 80 lbs repeatedly. Roof work and strong customer service are essential parts of the job.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B license.
• Must pass all DOT requirements including physical examination and drug screen.
• Must have a clean motor vehicle record.
• The ability to lift 80 lbs. repeatedly.
• The ability to walk on roofs and other un-even surfaces.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• The ability to locate and deliver building materials to job sites in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform pre and post DOT truck inspection.
• Properly secure load on truck / trailer.
• Daily maintenance and cleanliness of truck.
• Safely operate assigned equipment: i.e. crane, conveyor, tractor - trailer, forklift, piggyback.
• Report any unsafe job site or injury immediately to supervisor.
• Job site supervision of material handler on roof top as needed.
• Pre and post photographs of job site.
• Customer signature on sales orders at job sites.
