Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Rubber Shop Mechanic in Fort Worth, TX to customize light and heavy duty belts and rubber parts per customer specs, either in-house or at customer sites. You’ll receive extensive training and ongoing feedback to help reach company and personal goals.

Responsibilities include building and repairing belts, fabricating and installing conveyor belting, receiving parts, maintaining stock, and delivering orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Maintenance or belt tech experience preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical background and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Build / repair belts and rubber components.
• Fabricate, install and repair conveyor belting, systems, and rubber products.
• Receive and verify incoming parts, materials and supplies.
• Maintain stock area and prepare sales orders.
• Pick up and deliver orders, stock, and supplies.
• Adhere to safety rules and maintain a neat, orderly work area.
• Handle tools properly and report defective equipment or unusual conditions.
• Observe safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment.
• Support team procedures to achieve customer satisfaction and company goals.
