Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies in Wisconsin is seeking a Belt Technician to customize heavy-duty belts and rubber components to customer specifications, either in-house or at a customer site. You'll receive training and solid feedback to reach company and personal goals, contributing to customer satisfaction and bottom-line results.

The role covers belt fabrication, installation, repair, and vulcanization, parts receiving, stocking, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 1+ year proven experience in field service work, maintenance, or other hands on work.
• Organization and prioritization skills; attention to detail.
• Strong mechanical background and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Basic math and computer skills; strong communication in English.
• Overtime hours and weekend work may be required.
• Maintenance/belttech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build / repair belts and rubber components.
• Install and vulcanize conveyor belting and rubber products.
• Receive/verify incoming parts; maintain stock area; prepare orders.
• Pickup/deliver orders and stock; handle tools safely.
• Fabricate, install and repair conveyor belting systems and rubber products.
• Maintain a safe work environment; report defects and unsafe conditions.
• Follow safety rules; keep the work area neat and orderly.
