Job summary

Affordable Conveyor Service LLC is seeking a dependable Conveyor Service Technician to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain conveyor systems for commercial and industrial customers in Connecticut and surrounding states.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience with conveyors or related equipment, with electrical troubleshooting and blueprint reading experience being a plus. OSHA 10 certification is required, and willingness to travel and work overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience on conveyors or related machinery.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience is desirable.
• Blueprint reading experience is a plus.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain conveyor equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Replace motors, bearings, rollers, belts and other components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Complete service reports accurately and communicate professionally.
• Follow OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
• Travel to customer sites within CT and occasionally out-of-state.
• On-call rotation and overtime as needed.

Affordable Conveyor Service LLC is a growing company specializing in conveyor system installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair for commercial and industrial customers throughout Connecticut and surrounding states. We are committed to providing quality workmanship, exceptional customer service and a safe work environment.

Position Summary

We are seeking aDEPENDABLE, motivated and mechanically inclinedConveyor Service Technicianto join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with conveyor industrial equipment and be comfortable troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in the field.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain conveyor system related equipment.
• diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• replace Motors, reducers, bearings, rollers, belts, chains, pulleys and other conveyor components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings when applicable.
• Complete service reports accurately and communicate professionally
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
• Travel to customer locations throughout Connecticut and occasional out-of-state job sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working on conveyors, industrial machinery, or related mechanical equipment.
• R-8 Elevator Limited Conveyor Journeyperson License but not required.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience is highly desirable.
• Blueprint reading experience is a plus.
• Arc welding experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must pass a background check with no felony convictions.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Personal hand tools are required.
• Forklift and Scissor Lift certifications are .
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Willingness to work overtime, after-hours, weekends, and occasional out-of-state assignments as needed.
• On Call.
• Bilingual .

Compensation & Benefits

• $23.00-$27.00 per hour, depending on experience
