Job summary

Qualifications

• A good command of the English language is required, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Ability to read and understand routings/work orders, ARIs, prints, B.O.M. and safety notifications.
• Ability to use applicable hand tools such as torque wrenches and screwdrivers.

Responsibilities

• Receive job instruction from supervisor.
• Observe operator proficiency and re-instruct when necessary.
• Operate material handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate counts on materials, parts and supplies, report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Maintain an adequate supply of parts and materials to workstations to ensure uninterrupted flow of work.
• Report labor and job data accurately.
• Maintain quality, safety and efficiency.
• Maintain clean and neat work area.
• Perform other duties within the department or plant as required by supervision.
