HDR, part of the Water Business Group, offers a Conveyance Intern role in Nebraska. You will gain real-world experience in modeling and design of water distribution and wastewater systems while under the guidance of a senior engineer.

You will evaluate utilities, connect with recent graduates through mentoring programs, and contribute to community-focused projects. This is a part-time, temporary internship designed for active student participation in an employee-owned culture.

In the role of a Conveyance Intern, we'll count on you to:

• Gain real-world experience on exciting projects by applying standard engineering techniques and procedures for the modeling and design of water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
• Work under the guidance and direct supervision of a senior-level Engineer to assist for the planning, modeling and design of water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
• Evaluate utilities to determine improvements to processes, grant opportunities, and their system operations.
• Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals’ programs.
• Perform other duties as needed. .

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer 3+ years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry. This would include GIS, AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling platforms.
• Preference given to local candidates
