Job summary

United Distributors Group in Smyrna, GA is hiring a Conveyable Loader to support fast-paced warehouse operations. You will read route numbers, load cases onto pallets, and prepare shipments for delivery, following safety and inventory procedures to ensure accurate manifests.

The role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to operate a pallet jack, forklift, and other power equipment.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Six months of experience in a similar position strongly preferred.
Experience operating an electric pallet jack, forklift and other power equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Read route numbers and truck numbers to ensure the correct truck is being loaded.
Use Warehouse Management System to ensure all cases are accounted for on the manifest.
Ensure all loads are properly stacked, secured, and stable.
Identify damages and safely clean up spills.
Operate a hand truck and motorized pallet jack.
Safely operate the conveyor line and shut it down in case of emergency.
Maintain inventory control, rotation of stock, and security.
Assist with physical inventories as required.
Assist in other doors or areas when necessary or assigned.
Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Report safety or mechanical problems with power equipment in writing.
Maintain a neat, clean, orderly, and safe facility.
Assist in maintaining the security of the Warehouse.
