Sofidel America is hiring multiple Converting Utility Operators at our Lewiston, Idaho facility. This entry-level role involves safely operating production equipment, handling materials, and performing changeovers to meet quality and efficiency standards.

The position requires a High School Diploma and 1+ years of work experience. Team collaboration, basic computer skills, and the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts including nights and weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of continuous employment; industrial experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with work order systems helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Perform machine setup, start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
• Load and stage raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Conduct quality inspections and document production and traceability data.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic adjustments.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate issues with supervisors and team members.
• Support production goals by minimizing downtime and waste.
• Participate in required training and maintain records.
