Job summary

The role emphasizes safety, training, and quality, with opportunities to influence efficiency and output. A Bachelor's degree and extensive experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises plant colleagues and daily operation of the plant.
• Delegates plant assignments and job schedules.
• Oversees the loading and unloading of trucks.
• Facilitates day-to-day activities with other departments.
• Promotes safety practices and ensures guards and safety features are working.
• Prepares and evaluates required production reporting and communications.
• Provides training and leadership to plant colleagues.
• Attends and/or participates in meetings.
• Communicates goals, applies policy, staffs, trains, coaches, and reviews performance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Supervises plant colleagues and daily operation of the plant.
• Delegates plant assignments and job schedules.
• Oversees the loading and unloading of trucks.
• Facilitates the day to day activities with other departments.
• Incorporates and maintains safety observances, ensuring guards and safety features are working, and promoting good daily safety practices and habits.
• Prepares and evaluates required production reporting, paperwork and communications, etc.
• Provides training and leadership to plant colleagues.
• Attends and/or participates in meetings.
• Communicates goals and objectives, applies company policy, staffs, trains, coaches, recommends salary increases, motivate colleagues and reviews the performance of colleagues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

• Typically possesses a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 8 or more years of relevant experience

• Knowledge of machinery and the operation process.

Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $71,000.00 - $121,000.00 annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between80,000.00 to90,000.00 annually. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
