Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global Inc. is representing a manufacturing client in Sussex, WI seeking Converting Operators for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will operate converting machines, perform quality checks, and help maintain safety and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

You must be able to lift up to 30 lbs, work overtime as needed, and collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets while following 5S and quality procedures.

Job description

Our client, a manufacturing organization is seeking a Converting Operators to join their team. As a Converting Operators, you will be part of the Converting department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, a focus on quality, and the drive to meet production performance standards which will align successfully in the organization.

Converting Operators 2nd & 3rd Shfit

Location

Sussex, WI

Pay Range

$21.50-$22.00/hr.

Shift

2nd Shift (2:45pm-11pm)

3rd shift (10:45pm - 07:00am)

What's the Job?

• Work safely and operate assigned converting machine(s) in a fast-paced factory environment.
• Conduct physical and visual inspections of product to prevent non-conforming goods and minimize waste.
• Meet or exceed production performance standards while maintaining consistent output.
• Perform quality audits, record quality defects, and document production data in the machine computer promptly and accurately.
• Pack and palletize goods to be shipped, create labels, and dispose scrap into the appropriate film-type gaylord.

• Ability and willingness to multi-task in a fast-paced factory environment.
• Basic computer and math skills to support production tracking and calculations.
• Capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling 30 lbs. unassisted, and able to bend, twist, and stoop.
• Reliable mode of transportation and the ability to work necessary overtime to meet customer demands.
• Dependable teamwork mindset, including the ability to work on foot for extended periods and assist coworkers when able.
