Job summary

IPG is seeking a Converting Operator in its Blythewood, SC production facility. You will operate and set up converting equipment, adhere to safety protocols, and work as part of a hands-on team in a non-exempt hourly role.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma, basic math and computer skills, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, read a tape measure, and withstand temperatures above 95 degrees. Prior manufacturing experience is helpful; no travel is required.

• Must be able to work in varying temperatures above 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple converting machinery
• Troubleshoot machinery and make adjustments as needed
• Produce orders to schedule and specification
• Prepare goods for shipping using various equipment
• Label finished goods, place on pallets as necessary
• Perform quality control checks
• Ability to read tape measure
• Must be detailed oriented and have a sense of urgency
• Use PPE as required
• Maintain good housekeeping
• Related tasks as requested by supervisor
