Job summary

IPG is a global leader in packaging and protective solutions seeking a Converting Operator to join the Production team. You will operate converting equipment, set up multiple machines, monitor quality, and ensure timely order fulfillment while maintaining safe, clean work practices.

You will work in a non-exempt hourly role with no travel, in temperatures above 95 degrees Fahrenheit, and with up to 50 lbs lifting.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience is helpful.
• No travel required.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures above 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must have basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple converting machinery.
• Troubleshoot machinery and make adjustments as needed.
• Produce orders to schedule and specification.
• Prepare goods for shipping using various equipment.
• Label finished goods, place on pallets as necessary.
• Perform quality control checks.
• Ability to read tape measure.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
