Job summary

Sofidel America, part of the Sofidel Group, is seeking a Converting Shift Supervisor to lead daily converting operations at Circleville, Ohio. You will manage a production team, ensure safety, drive quality, and meet production targets while upholding company policies and continuous improvement.

The role requires technical experience in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, plus leadership skills and lift certification.

Qualifications

Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred.
2+ years of experience managing a production team in manufacturing.
Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and troubleshooting experience preferred.
Strong ownership and communication skills.
Must have or obtain a lift certification.

Responsibilities

Supervise converting department activities, set up materials, assign production orders, and organize areas for production.
Guide employees, evaluate performance, and manage training and personnel actions.
Attend pre-shift meetings to review safety procedures and orders.
Collaborate with Safety and Quality teams to address injuries and quality concerns.
Monitor machine run speeds, changeovers, and notify maintenance as needed.
Review production data to ensure requirements are met and maintain safe operations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment and perform other duties as assigned.
