Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is hiring a Machine Operator/Helper to run converting machines, perform setup, operation, cleanup, and suggest improvements. Training will be provided for Flexo or folder/glue machinery. Eligible applicants should be prepared to work overtime as needed.

This position requires standing, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Starting rate is $20.00 per hour plus shift differential; comprehensive benefits follow after eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or packaging environment preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Willingness to train on new machinery and processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up rails, print, and die cut sections on converting machine following procedures.
• Inspect dies before and after runs and ensure proper securement.
• Monitor print quality and machine performance to maximize output; maintain housekeeping and safety.
