Job summary

Zenith Information Systems, Inc. is seeking a data conversion and software implementation professional in Los Angeles. You will manage conversion projects, partner with the Implementation Specialist, and ensure data quality throughout pre- and post-conversion activities.

A strong background in data migration and SQL is preferred. The role requires 3+ years in related fields, excellent communication, and proficiency with Excel/Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or equivalent experience in Business/IS/Finance/Operations.
• 3+ years in software implementation, onboarding, data conversion, or project management.
• Experience with large-scale data migration, mapping, validation, reconciliation, and testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365 apps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in financial services, banking, fintech, SaaS implementations, or software deployments preferred.
• Familiarity with SQL, reporting tools, and data analysis platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to conversion work plans, timelines, and checklists.
• Collaborate with Zenith Implementation Specialist to meet conversion milestones.
• Manage multiple conversions while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Develop and publish the master Conversion QC Checklist.
• Analyze legacy data and identify quality issues before conversion.
• Prepare, validate, and reconcile migration datasets using the Conversion Tool.
• Execute test conversions and evaluate results for accuracy.
• Verify successful migration of customer datasets.
• Document exceptions and remediation activities with the Conversion Team.
• Support and drive implementation interviews with customers.
• Gather operational requirements and document conversion customizations.
• Provide Training Notes detailing conversion nuances to the Implementation Specialist.
• Perform pre-conversion readiness reviews and post-conversion QC.

Job description

Zenith Information Systems, Inc. Target Range: $26.00/Hr. - $31.00/Hr. Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 5% Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 5% These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

• Maintain adherence to established conversion work plans, timelines, checklists, and readiness assessments
• Work closely with Zenith Implementation Specialist to ensure conversions remain on track, hitting all target milestones and dates
• Potentially manage multiple conversions simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines and quality expectations
• Develop and publish master Conversion QC Checklist
• Analyze legacy customer data and identify data quality issues prior to conversion
• Prepare, validate, and reconcile migration datasets using the Conversion Tool, minimizing manual data manipulation
• Execute test conversions and evaluate results for completeness and accuracy
• Verify successful migration of customer’s dataset
• Document exceptions, anomalies, and remediation activities, sharing with Conversion Team
• Participate and help drive implementation interviews with customers
• Gather operational requirements and clearly document conversion customizations
• Provide detailed breakdown of conversion nuances to Implementation Specialist for customer training (aka, “Training Notes”)
• Perform pre-conversion readiness reviews
• Perform post-conversion QC and complete master Conversion QC Checklist

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in software implementation, client onboarding, data conversion, operations, project coordination, or customer-facing project management
• Experience with large-scale data migration and conversion processes, including data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and conversion testing
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience supporting financial services, banking, accounting, fintech, SaaS implementations, or software deployment projects preferred
• Familiarity with SQL, reporting tools, and data analysis platforms preferred
