Role Overview

The Onsite Service Engineer (OSE) is responsible for supporting operational activities such as installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Edwards products. The role emphasizes safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and technical problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Conduct installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting to achieve a >95% First Time Fix Rate (FTFR).
  2. Use Edwards product and operational information, systems, and networks effectively, including the Service Management Application (SMA) and escalation processes.
  3. Perform software setup, operation, basic analytics, and fault-finding, escalating issues as needed within contractual SLAs.
  4. Work safely, support teammates, and adhere to risk control protocols.
  5. Develop technical knowledge and skills, progressing to more complex product ranges after training.
  6. Provide detailed feedback and reports on service activities, submitting data via SMA.
  7. Setup, operate, and maintain software and monitor platforms on Edwards equipment.
  8. Accurately document service activities, creating work orders and notifications.
  9. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a preference for an AS degree or military equivalent, and 1-3 years of relevant technical experience in electronics, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or vacuum fields.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills in English.
  • Problem-solving ability and self-direction.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and use computer software for data recording and reporting.
  • Team collaboration and compliance with safety standards.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly wage: $24 - $28
