Job summary

APM Terminals in Redlands, California, is seeking a responsible individual to operate warehouse equipment including stand-up forklifts and electric pallet jacks. This position is full-time and requires training and certification.

Position Summary

Responsible for controlling warehouse equipment that requires training/certification in a stand-up forklift/electric pallet jack. Position is full time and on-site.

Responsibilities

• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed.
• Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.
• Loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
• Lubricates truck, recharges batteries, fills fuel tank, or replaces liquefied gas tank.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 0-1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to operate a forklift.

Pay

Pay Range: $19.40- $22.00
