Job summary

Carpe is seeking a UX/UI Designer & Web Developer to elevate our website, blending design with code to reframe pages, build landing pages, funnels, and on-site experiences. You will work with our senior web developer and AI tools to bring designs to life in a hybrid role, located on-site in Durham, NC.

You will own front-end quality, ship tests, and ensure responsive, pixel-perfect experiences across devices while collaborating with ecommerce, marketing, and brand teams to align campaigns with

Qualifications

3+ years designing and building UX flows for ecommerce websites.
Strong portfolio with visual and interaction design.
Experience turning designs into production-ready code using AI tools.
Pixel-perfect, mobile-first responsive design across breakpoints.

Responsibilities

Design, reframe, and upgrade landing pages and funnels for conversion.
Translate designs into clean code and implement A/B test wins.
Deliver responsive UX across mobile, tablet, and desktop.
Maintain visual consistency and design system components.
Prototype and iterate quickly with shipping bias.
Sanity-check for broken states and performance issues.
Collaborate with ecommerce, marketing, brand, and retail teams.
Own front-end quality as the program grows.
