NBI, based near Altoona, WI, seeks a Content Editor to elevate CLE copy for a professional audience. The role involves managing high-volume, deadline-driven content, shaping a premium voice and coordinating with teams to boost registrations.

You will edit, draft, and test acquisition copy, translate complex legal concepts, and collaborate with paid media and design to maximize performance. A JD or legal-writing background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Direct-response copywriting with proven conversions.
• Experience across multiple channels.
• Strong editing and brand voice preservation.
• SEO writing with organic traffic focus.
• 4+ years in content, copywriting, editing, or strategy.
• Clear, credible writing for professional audiences.
• Portfolio or writing sample available.

Responsibilities

• Edit and Elevate owned content across channels.
• Edit and strengthen CLE course marketing copy for clarity and conversion.
• Review and improve social media content.
• Ensure CLE course pages and related copy are helpful and current.
• Draft & Test acquisition copy with paid media partner.
• Draft paid social and other ad campaign copy.
• Produce high-volume, event-specific promotional copy to drive registrations.
• Iterate on copy using performance data (CTR, conversions).
• Support organic search emails and landing page tests.
• Draft product marketing copy and sales collateral across teams.
• Translate complex legal/compliance concepts into clear copy.
• Research legal topics to write credibly for attorneys.
