We are currently seeking an experienced Conventional Machinist for our 2nd shift team in the Manufacturing industry. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic, high-tech production environment where you will be a key player in the creation of precision components. You will be working with a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to achieving excellence in all aspects of manufacturing. This is a permanent, full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

As a Conventional Machinist, you will be responsible for

• Operating conventional manual lathe machines to produce precision parts.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating and assembly.
• Setting up and operating fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls, and routers, to cut, bend, block and form, or straighten materials.
• Inspecting machined parts to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintaining machinery and work area in a clean and safe condition.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Conventional Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with conventional manual lathe machines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and product specifications.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments to inspect machined parts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
