Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and adjust conventional machines.
• Prescribe operational sequences, setup procedures, tooling, speeds, etc.
• Operate machine through the complete cycle to prove out setups and produce a pilot work piece for inspection purposes.
• Diagnose machine or tooling malfunctions causing variances on production runs and implement corrective adjustments.
• Work from route sheets, part drawings, and specifications.
• Check dimensions with scales, micrometers, and calipers.
• Coordinate with cell coordinators, production scheduling, and engineering to maintain production schedules and costs.
• Keep tools and work area clean and organized.
