Night Shift Position: A 10% shift differential will be added to the hourly base rate.

Job Description: The Conventional EDM Operator effectively runs multiple machines, identifies problems during production, positions workpieces, and inspects parts daily using various inspection tools.

Job Function: Performs operations on EDM machines including loading/unloading parts, inspection, electrode prep, cleaning, preventive maintenance, and record keeping. Ensures safety, maintains work areas, communicates with team members, and operates EDM and other machinery as needed.

  • Set up and switch jobs as required.
  • Perform tasks efficiently within standard time.
  • Track materials and maintain equipment.
  • Maintain excellent attendance.
  • Verify parts conform before signing off.
  • Manage scrap and seek corrective actions.
  • Operate multiple machines in a cell.
  • Maintain inspection gauges and tooling.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Work effectively within a team and adhere to quality standards.

Requirements:

  • High ability in machining.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Meet ITAR US Person criteria.
  • Clear documentation skills.
  • Understanding of machining processes.
  • Ability to run parts to spec on multiple machines.
  • Ability to read simple drawings and use measurement tools accurately.
  • Follow instructions in English.
  • Pre-employment drug testing required.

Preferred Experience: Prior machining experience or education/training in machining.

Physical Demands: Standing, moving, lifting up to 35 pounds, using PPE, and working in a loud environment. Accommodations available for disabilities.
