Job Description

The Conventional EDM Operator has the ability to run multiple machines effectively and efficiently on a continuous basis. They can identify problems during production, position workpieces, and inspect parts daily using various inspection equipment.

Shift: Day Shift

Location: Erlanger, KY

Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up and switch jobs as required
• Perform tasks efficiently within standard time
• Keep track of materials and scrap, seek corrective actions
• Maintain and operate 2+ machines in a cell
• Perform minor maintenance and ensure safety protocols
• Verify parts conform to specifications before signing off
• Maintain inspection gauges and tooling
• Adhere to quality standards like AS9100

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; documentation required
• Understanding of machining processes
• Ability to run parts to spec on multiple machines
• Ability to read drawings and use micrometers/dial calipers accurately
• Good communication skills in English
• Pre-employment drug screening required

Preferred Experience:

• 1-5 years in conventional machining (milling, drilling, turning)

Physical Demands: Must be able to move, stand, lift up to 35 pounds, and work in a loud environment with PPE. Supportive team environment; fast-paced work.
