A leading municipality seeks a reliable maintenance staff member to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the Convention Center. This role involves cleaning duties, event setup assistance, and communication about repair needs. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to work safely and efficiently in a public facility.
SUMMARY
Responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the Convention Center, and provides assistance with other maintenance related tasks as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Participates in the layout and set-up of Convention Center events and activities.
•Cleans floors, to include mopping, scrubbing, buffing & vacuuming.
•Cleans bathrooms, to include sinks, toilets, stalls, floors, walls, mirrors, and empties trash receptacles.
•Washes windows and scrubs walls.
•Moves furniture.
•Loads and unloads supplies.
•Cleans trash cans, stairs and office space.
•Notifies supervisor concerning needs for repairs to Convention Center building, equipment, and/or inventory.
•Performs all duties in a safe manner.
