FOOD SERVICE SPECIALIST – JOB DESCRIPTION

Food Service Specialist Responsibilities:

The Food Service Specialist has the ultimate responsibility for executing all aspects of the deli including maintaining product inventory levels, vendor invoice integrity, and maintaining compliance with all Company, local, and federal food safety procedures. The Food Service Specialist reports directly to the Store Manager.

Food Service Specialist duties will include but are not limited to:

• Complete daily position based checklist
• Prepare and cook food, maintaining availability and consistency
• Adhere to all food safety procedures and standards within the course of performing job duties
• Maintain records and complete reports as it relates to inventory, sales and waste
• Execute food preparation methods, portion sizes and presentation of food
• Manage product storage, maintain and rotate inventory to avoid damage/spoilage

Experience/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years of experience in the food service industry
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand, bend and kneel for long periods of time, up to 10 hours

Hours:

The Food Service Specialist is a full time position and works up to 40 hours per week. Open availability is required along with a set schedule
