Job summary

Augment in Milledgeville, GA is seeking a hands-on worker to collect containers and manage refuse and recycling at a designated convenience site. The role supports daily site operations, helps customers, and maintains cleanliness to ensure proper waste handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate hoisting equipment to raise refuse bins when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the site.
• Perform other duties to support site operations as assigned.

Job Summary

Receives, collects, and processes refuse and recyclable materials at a designated convenience site. This position supports daily site operations by assisting customers, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring refuse and recycling materials are properly handled and disposed of.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Collect containers from convenience site customers and dispose of refuse into appropriate bins
• Collect separated recycling materials and place them into designated recycling containers
• Assist with loading, unloading, and cleaning of garbage trucks at the convenience site as required
• Operate hoisting equipment to raise refuse bins attached to the rear of the truck when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the convenience site
• Perform other duties as assigned to support site operations

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Zero to four years of relevant experience
