Position Details

• Provide direct, specialized nursing care to adult patients in a 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital.
• Care for individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
• Deliver customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to individual patient needs.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to maximize patients' health, function, and quality of life.
• Utilize the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for documentation and patient care coordination.
• Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1 nurse to 6 patients.
• Work per diem shifts, including weekends as required.
• Adhere to facility and unit protocols, safety standards, and best practices in rehabilitation nursing.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team throughout the recovery process.
• Report to supervisor Alyse Keys upon arrival, wearing navy scrubs.
• Serve an adult patient population on the 1st and 2nd floors of the hospital.
• Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
