Job summary

A leading HVAC company in Norman, OK is seeking a Powers Controls Technician to install, service, and repair HVAC control systems. Candidates should possess strong customer relations skills, a basic understanding of HVAC systems, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and reliability are critical for this role which requires a good understanding of electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional customer relations and communication skills.

Powers Controls Technicians install, service, or repair HVAC Controls systems in commercial establishments depending on job role.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install controls components at the highest quality
  • Read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Organize work and meet deadlines
  • Bend Conduit, pull wire, install sensors
  • Work individually or as a team to complete projects
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
