Job summary

Powers is seeking a Controls Technician to install, service, or repair HVAC control systems in commercial settings. You will read schematics, interpret safety and operation manuals, and ensure proper operation of building controls.

Work with multiple control systems (Siemens, Talon, Delta, KMC, JCI, Distech, Honeywell, etc.). This safety-sensitive role requires attention to detail, reliability, and strong customer communication, with pre-employment background checks.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer relations and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Basic computer knowledge with ability to learn more detail operation.
• Detail oriented with attention to minute details of a project.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Responsible and accountable for conduct.
• Electrical and/or HVAC controls/installations experience (preferred).
• Understanding of Building Automation Software (BAS) (preferred).
