Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Controls Technician for a direct hire opportunity on 2nd shift with highly competitive pay and an outstanding benefit package in the greater Fort Wayne area.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Program, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC systems.
2. Install and repair industrial electronic equipment and 480V 3-phase power distribution.
3. Manage process control systems, interpret fault readings on controllers, PLCs, and variable frequency drives, and take appropriate corrective actions.
4. Provide shift support and leadership regarding electrical safety, controls, and equipment operation.
5. Perform projects, install new electrical equipment, and assist in production.

Experience/Requirements:

• 3-5 years of maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• PLC and drive experience is essential, with a good understanding of ladder logic and its principles.
